FWIW, I went through recruitment as a freshman, even though I was due to transfer before my sophomore year. I got the bid that I really wanted, and was thrilled. So much so, that I ended up not transferring, especially because my sorority didn't have a chapter at the school to which I had a full ride, the school where I had dreamed of attending since I was ten.

I bleed azure blue and white. I love Alpha Delta Pi. I do not regret being initiated as an ADPi. But all of these years later, I do speculate what would have happened had I not pledged, and instead waited until I got to W&M and rushed there.

It's a moot point, but there is a touch of wondering about the road not taken.
