Go through in the fall. You haven't transferred anywhere yet. You may change your mind about transferring or you may not be accepted at a transfer school. Don't count your chickens before they are hatched. Don't mention transferring during recruitment if you want a shot at a sorority.
Even if you join a sorority at your current school, a transfer chapter does not have to accept you as a member. There are no guarantees. If you do transfer, do it for academic and career advancement reasons. Don't pick a transfer school solely because of its student organizations.
