DITTO! Take it from a pre-vet drop out.... get that GPA up or you won't be going to vet school anywhere. There are only what, 26 or 27 vet schools in the US? Unless you plan on going to vet school in India, or the Carribbean....
A sister of mine graduated with a 3.8 and got rejected from 3 of the 5 vet schools she applied to. After I finished my freshman year with a 2.6, I knew I wouldn't be going to vet school anywhere and changed my career goals. Let THIS be your motivation, not greek membership!

If you go to final Preference round, if you sign a bid card indicating you would accept a bid from which ever (can be more than one) group you attended preference to, and you receive a bid from one of those groups you wrote down, then you are bound to that bid for one year. If you do not write a name down, if you do not make it to preference round, if you write down a group and they do not extend you a bid, then you are free to do COB/informal recruitment in the spring (if they choose to have it).
