If your friends are all freshman/new members sororities they may not fully understand the bid process. In addition, it is a chapter decision not just a few people. It is entirely possible that while you fit in with that clique, the rest of the group isn't sure. Not trying to be a downer. I went through a similar thing and don't want you to get your hopes too high.
