You may want to get checked for GERD. I had a terrible cough unrelated to anything. Doctors kept piling on allergy meds and inhalers. One genius pulmnologist put me on Nexium and it solved everything. I never had any heartburn or the other usual symptoms. Just a cough I couldn't shake.
