Some of you may be familiar with one of my friends and co-moderators, OohTeenyWahine. She just received the following note from UF_Pike, a person who was banned from GreekChat recently because of obscene posts and who just came back under another screenname to stir up more controversy.
It seems that he has started a PM campaign in an attempt to get OTW and myself banned from GC because we (in addition to many other people) asked that
he be banned. The thing that makes me laugh the hardest is that he claims that he hasn't started this petition out of revenge. Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know because I personally don't believe in sending around Private Messages to people in order to garner support for something so ridiculous. I figured that I'd just let y'all know, flat-out, in public. Here's the note:
"Just to let you know, I have 32 (Men and Women) signatures from people on GC signing a petition that I started asking for the ban on DzRose93 and yourself. I know you will probably be allowed to come back sooner than I did, but just so you cannot have the same name again and you are banned at least once, thats all we want. I am waiting until we find enough people to get over 50 before I send it to John Hammel. By the end of this week from other members approaching other people on this board, we should have more than enough. Every person copies and pastes it to another PM and then sends it to their friend, then their friend sends it back so that eveyone can send it out. We chose not to do this in public but rather secretive so that it does not look like revenge or just a bunch of people talking crapp. We are very serious about this and I wanted you and DzRose93 to know about it before everyone else online finds out about it. This is not revenge from me but rather the feelings of many people online who are sick and tired the way things are done around here by only a few mods. Anyhow- I wanted you to know whats being done to the two of you before it is a big slap in the face. We all know nobody likes surprises. I hope you learn to change just as I have. Those in position of authority are sometimes reluctant to change and therefore must lose their position before a change takes place.
