Happy Founder's Day!

I've worn my pin the past three days. I usually forget, but this year I remembered and made a point of putting it on. I had hoped to run into some other Greek women while I was out and about with it on, but that didn't happen.

I love the story of our founding and the vision of the two young women who made it happen.

I will never forget when I was at the Centennial Convention in Boston in 1988 as a collegian. It was my first national Tri Delta exposure and it was an unbelievable experience. I wasn't from a Greek background so I didn't fully grasp the extent of the national organization or the involvement of alumnae throughout their lives. So much more of Tri Delta became real to me that week. Perhaps most meaningful for me was when they played the audio of Sarah Ida Shaw's comments at the fiftieth anniversary. It was so amazing to hear her voice.

I'm so thankful for Tri Delta.
