Happy Founders' Day, Omega Psi Phi!!!!

101 years ago tonight, three undergraduates of the junior class at Howard University--Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Copper, and Frank Coleman--with the assistance of their faculty advisor, Professor Ernest E. Just, founded the first national fraternity at an HBCU. The bonds that served as the foundation of their friendship, which was the genesis of the Fraternity, were religion, culture and tradition. Today, Omega men carry on the legacy of our Founders on university campuses and in communities in the USA and all over the world. The LORD bless the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the principles upon which it was founded!!!!

"Members vs. Men" by Bro. Walter H. Mazyck (Alpha Chapter, 1913), from The Oracle, 1925--the true standards of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity
