I'll be there for the Convention Aug 3 - 7. I agree that the cost is outrageous. I've already spent more than $700 on the convention registration and a plane ticket. I still have a hotel room to cover, and also meals and drinks for four days.
But our chapter is going for our 2nd Smythe...so that makes it worthwhile. And Tim McGraw will be there. That's just icing on the cake.
