I grew up in San Antonio and LOVED doing yard work. In fact I had my own mowing business in high school. I HATED doing anything house related -like dusting, vacuuming, ironing, dishes-my mother always made me do this dometic crap while my brother got to mow the yard. I would always complain that it was so sexist. I finally told her no more at about the age of 14. From then on I got to do the yard work
