Hi I am new to a sorority, and we have been given twins! like bigs/littles, but girls in the same pledge class. I am a complete klutz when it comes to art projects and would have been mortified to have to make something for my twin. So, I went and got a store bought item for our first gift exchange. ...

the only thing is, she gave me bunch of precious, cute home made things, like a photo frame, a beautiful small pin box that she took the time to paint herself. She wrote our letters on and wrote her name inside in script and put a beautiful glittery flower on tip, a plaque with our open motto on it that she painted and wrote in script on, painted my initial and decorated it and got a set of wooden and glittered letters for me to hang on my wall... She worked really hard, and for a long time on these things and I feel really guilty that I didn't spend any time at all on her gift and the fact that my first gift was so much more impersonal.

Relax. You did fine. Not all of us were born with the crafty gene and yes we do sometimes try to compensate by going larger on lame-o store bought things. Let her know how much the gift means to you and stop overthinking it. Your friendship and sisterhood is so much bigger that a few gifts.
