Out of 74 female students who registered for sorority rush, more than 50 were offered bids to Princeton’s three Panhellenic sororities.
Kappa Kappa Gamma gave 22 total bids, Pi Beta Phi gave 15, and
Kappa Alpha Theta gave between 14 and 16, according to sources within the organizations.
As a result of the University’s ban on freshman rush, these numbers are reduced significantly compared to those of past years, when each would offer around 50 bids. Without freshmen, sororities recruited for this year’s pledge classes out of a pool of sophomores, juniors and seniors.
The 74 non-freshmen who rushed this year far exceed the number of sophomores and upperclassmen who rushed in previous years. . . . “
