I always joke that I'm not going to be let into the movies around here because I wear too many clothes - I don't ever have my stomach showing or wear ass shorts. I just odn't understand how these mothers allow this. What the hell are they thinking? Is it that they wish they were skinny and cute again and live vicariously through their daughters? (I've noticed that there is a direct correlation between how trampy the kid is dressed and how out of shape the mother is).

Interesting observation about trampy kids and out-of-shape mamas. My mother is 5'1" and weighed, at the most, 115 pounds. I was thin as a child, but I would have never dreamed of wearing trampy clothes. I had enough of a time being teased.
