Tour guides on my campus were called Student Ambassadors. It was a very competitive process to be part of it, but everyone I know who has ever done it has said that it was an amazing experience. You learn everything there is to know about the University and make great connections for after college (especially since you spend a lot of time at welcome receptions for high-profile donors, business people visiting the University, department heads, etc.)
