A great activity for someone with a lot of school loyalty would be, if it exists on your campus, the organization that provides tours to prospective students and their parents and assists visiting alumni.
Also, since it looks like you like to write, how about the school newspaper? That seems to be the sort of place where age wouldn't matter, and a different perspective, that of the nontraditional student, could even be something they would like to branch out into.
