So far I've had the opportunity to go through 3 levels of Impact Leadership, and I am going to be going through Impact 4 in Denver. Since I've been luck to go to these conferences I've heard many frustrations that chapters have had with nationals and specifically ELC's.
I wanted to write in to say that my chapter has had really good luck so far with ELC's. I've been in the house for a year and a half (since second semester of my freshman year). My first semester we had Chad Tino and Stefan Schefietal. Stefan is awesome to work with, and is extremely good at pumping you up for rush. Next semester we had Matt Ibling. He was very cool about stuff, and understood very well how things really work in chapters. Most recently we had Joe Schneggenberger, and although I've heard some negative experiences with him, he helped us a ton. Our chapter has been dealing with some internal issues, and he helped us work through a lot of them, and I think has placed us on a very good footing to improve in the next year.
It's difficult for me to try and grasp every chapter situation, because each zeta is completely different, but we also share quite a lot. Over the last year and a half I think that Nationals is becomming much more user friendly, you just have to contact the right people, and sometimes be patient.
On a side-note, I know for a fact that any use of Digital Lambda Chi other than pulling information (for those of you lucky enough to have access) is not working. Nationals is in teh process of getting a new system online, but it's a very expensive endeavor.
I hope that some of this helps.
ZAX,
Jason
