I was up with the sun again, curling my hair hair at 5am. Ugh. I was less nervous about parties, but I was more nervous about knowing I’d see Long Beach Ballet at some point today. I got another little inspirational quote on my door from my Rho Gamma. I was kind of taking over the door from my room mate, but I kind of didn’t feel that bad about it. I left for meet up, and as usual, I was early. I sat and waited and they slowly trickled in. To breakfast we went.

My Rho Gam group is super quiet at meals, so we never really had to have the talk about not gossiping about chapters.

State Street Young Dancers
It was hard to hear in this chapter, especially since the girl I talked to lost her voice. We talked about awkward situation, stereotypes, and school spirit. I liked this chapter, but our conversation didn’t really seem to mean much to the girl.

Royal Academy of Ballet
I talked to three girls here. One talked about how fast rush is and it seemed that my being out-of-state came up a lot in these conversations which bothered me. They wouldn’t move on until I had explained to them that just because I was a California kid didn’t mean I lived on the beach and such.


Chamber Ballet
I loved the first girl I talked to, but it was weird because we were standing around tables here and people would bump into you trying to squeeze past. The president came by and said hi which made me curious as to why. None of the other presidents had even acknowledged me. The second girl and I talked about disneyland which was weird. I guess I wouldn’t mind coming back here, but it wasn’t going to be one of my top choices.

Long Beach Ballet
Ahhhhhh! It was happening! I texted my sister to tell her I was going in, and she wished me luck. I absolutely loved this chapter. I felt like I was myself and these girls seemed to be fun and classy. I talked to several women and laughed and talked. It was the most fun I’d had. Both the president and vice president of membership acknowledged me which I basically freaked out over.

South Bay Ballet
I loved this house. The first girl and I talked about dumb boys, brothers, prom(how bad prom is), The second girl and I talked about Cal Poly. It was great.

Forum Jazz
I clicked with these girls. We talked football games, sweatyness because of the heat, totally weird stuff but it felt super normal. There was a girl in my major and we talked about why and all that jazz. It was fun fun fun fun.

Joffrey
This chapter was super blurry, I don’t really remember much. We sat on the ground by the fireplace and thats really all I remembered. I did put a heart by it…so I guess I liked it.

At the end of day four I had to preference 10 chapters. I chose:
