It's a common mistake.
Forito do your best in high school, get the best grades possible, join whatever clubs or sports teams interest you, and READ! Most importantly, enjoy your high school experience. That way you will have options as to what colleges will accept you. Maybe SUNY, maybe the Ivy League, maybe Seven Sisters, or maybe something you can't even imagine now. Don't limit yourself this early in the game. You have so much time to decide, and everything will happen in its own time.
