I wonder who Warlow is? My boyfriend seems to think that it is Russell, but I kind of have this inclination that it might be Bill, which is further supported by the fact that he's become completely evil in the last few eps. However, I think his evil-ness may be a plot to completely destroy the authority.

This season really had too many subplots. I mean, I guess that's True Blood for you, but I faintly remember back in season 1 when there were very few: the killer, Bill & Sookie's relationship, Bill making Jessica, and Sam's a shifter. This season we had Lafayette as a medium, Tara as a vampire, Pam's separation from Eric, Bill being a jerk, Iraq and Terry, the fire-smoke curse on Terry and his platoon-mates, Warlow, the Vampire Authority, Alcide's attempt at packmaster.... the list just goes on forever. They are completely gone from the books at this point which is a good and bad thing. Good may mean that we'll never have to deal with the character of Quinn, bad means we're never going to meet Sookie's fairy grandfather (no, not a special grandfather. He's literally a fairy in the book) and have Sookie find out that her parents were actually killed by fairies. I guess that can also be a good thing, but it probably would have been more interesting than what's going on this season.

Really, True Blood is horrible for like the first 5 episodes- we watch out of habit and its general campiness. The last couple of episodes are pretty good (except for that whole Marni-witch thing- lame!). Luckily some of the subplots are wrapping up so it should be easier to watch.

I still want more Sookie/Eric. I'd ship them forever.
