You can still see what I call "classic" children's clothes, such as those cute little smocked dresses, in retailers catering to a certain subset of the upper class. These type of stores advertise in say, Town & Country.

I like the classic look on kids. And if I get married and am blessed with a girlchild, she will not be wearing any midriff-baring tops [I've seen some pre-teens w/jiggly stomachs that look!] or booty shorts until maybe, she's a teenager.

Hopefully, she'll understand that a classic look always is polished.
