Have you all walked through the children's department lately? The last time I was looking through there for my cousins, I noticed that just about all off the shorts are really short. I think the clothing industry just tries to keep up with the latest fashion trends on TV like KappaStarGirl mentioned. I remember when I was younger most of the shorts in the girls department were a just a little higher than knee length. I can't even remember seeing halter tops and stuff that some little girls wear today. Can we really fault the parents if that is the majority of the clothing available. Some older generation parents take the attitude of "oh that is the style now, so it must be ok"
