Here is my dilemma: I decided to join a community service organization to support my interest in community service and to become more active on campus. However, their MIP was VERY unorganized, apparently they were trying to run the pledge process differently than ever before. And when it did not work out, my entire line was dropped. Mind you this was BEFORE the deadline for our requirements was to be met.

I was just wondering if you ladies think this will affect my chances of becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. should they find out ? Will it be looked down upon that I did not finish MIP?

The "affect" versus "effect" thing is important.
