My Opinion
I'm a Christian, at times I have found myself not to act like it-but I have confessed with my mouth and believed in my heart...
But anyway down to business. Personally, I feel the target isn't just Christians per se, because Muslims and Jews (Judaism) too serve ONE GOD.
It's amazing how everyday people celebrate and respect the Christian beliefs and don't even notice it.
Notice all the places that close for the Sabbath. What they think the post office is going to stay open on Sunday's next? They think everyone is going to keep there businesses open past 6pm. They think the children are going to go to school on Sunday too? (Interesting that even in a country were there is communism-the children go to school 6 days a week and Sunday isn't one of them). Notice all the people who celebrate Mardi Gras. Do you know what Mardi Gras truly is?
Mardi Gras also known as Shrove Tuesday and Lent. This is the day before the beginning of Lent. Traditionally, church goers celebrated this "lavish" carnaval before the solemn period of Lent. They did everything they needed to do before totally dedicating themselves to God. The next 40 days and nights of that person's life would be a period of fasting, forgiveness of sins, confession, and absolution which would end Good Friday.
What about all the people who have no problem with all the Christmas sales and gift giving and parties etc? This isn't a Christian ritual but it is in honor of THE LORD that we celebrate that season.
Perhaps the children who get out of school for "Easter" now known to many as "Spring Break/End of Winter Recess".
And boy the money that we so "In God we Trust".
Remember back in September when everything was "God Bless America" how quick they are to turn there backs on him.
Not even wanting to honor him in the pledge, a country found on Christian values. I guess they think America won it's Independance on it's own. (Secret's out: Who's name was exalted on just about every sign after the towers came down?)
See now what I'm about to be is pissed off, but I'm going to keep my cool.
"ONE NATION UNDER GOD", I shout it to the top of my lungs. People the times are ending it's time people opened there eyes, we are living the Revelation Times now.
Where will you be when the Rapture comes? Where will you spend eternity after Judgement Day?
