This statement caught my eye. This behavior by actives is one of the ways sororities can and do get verbally thrased/trashed by PNMs. I know of it first-hand, and not just for my own chapter. PNMs are "promised invites/we'll get you in" by their active friends, and boy does it get ugly when the PNM gets released after Open House rounds. Hell hath no fury like a PNM with internet access who has been released from recruitment.
GPA is a hard and fast line, notwithstanding those chapters that may permit "grade exceptions" (and don't get me started on that topic).
