About three-weeks ago I had an job interview and I was one of three black young-ladies and there were two black men. Tell me why the two men walk in with jeans, dirty white tee shirts, and a pair of timberlands. The interviewer politely told the two that there clothing was inapporiate (sp). Then they had the nerve to make a scene in the office causing the employer to call the police. Now I understand that not everyone has the luxary of having alot of clothes but I felt that what they did was completely out of line...
Awhile back while I was still in DC i had to go the Social Security office because I misplaced my card. After waiting two to three hours with all types of CRAZY people around me a black woman got in front of me and said "I need my check because I have to go by my crack"......... WTF
I know that some people GC aren't big fans of BET..but at Howard BET was one of the 8 channels of we had during the first semester. One day HITS came to Howard and asked a fellow student to show her thongs and she did on national TV.. I'm still looking for her a$$ on campus.. Just to ask her what in the hell was she thinking
