DC area here, though I'm currently staying with family in DE and their lovely power/wifi. Best part of all of this: I was supposed to work 8-5 Saturday, but there was no power. Procedure is that they would send us home but pay us for four hours, so if the power came back on we'd be expected to come in. Effectively, I got paid $8.75 an hour to nap.
our english springer spaniel is certainly enjoying the air conditioning and new people who will pet him.
