the rocks
As Zuma pointed out earlier, no one is forced to move the rocks. It is a bonding experience that is meant to create unity with everyone working together to form the org's letters. Everyone driving up the 5 freeway sees your letters spelled out with rocks on a hill. That's it. As you may have noticed, letters were already spelled out on the hill when the girls arrived. It is a Davis tradition that almost every, if not all, national or local chapter participates in. In response to the negative comments; if you go into an experience with such a negative attitude, then you probably won't get much out of it (hmm, foreshadowing?).
