I moved out in stages too...kinda!
April 1999 (age: 20) Moved to Toronto with Art.
May 2000 (age: 21) Moved back home to Halifax for 3 months, Art living in Dallas at this time.
April 2001 (age: 22) Moved back home to Halifax for 6 months, Art living in Tallahassee now.
November 2001 (age: 22) Moved out for good!
I got married October 20, got my name change and visa stuff done, then moved for good with my husband Art!
