It depends so much on your campus. At some schools being a junior is really not going to be a problem. At others you might as well not even try. At most they are going to be substantially more critical of your credentials than they would if you were a sophomore or freshman but there is still a chance. If you've improved your GPA and gotten involved on campus, and hopefully made some sorority member friends, AND you are on a campus that's open to juniors, then sure, you have a chance. And even at the most competitive school there's still a chance, but then you REALLY better have some girls on the inside pulling for you.

With so many colonies happening next year, if there happens to be one coming to your school next year, that's going to be a good way to go since they want a range of ages for the new colony. I'm not going to get into all that here, but read up a lot on that and don't assume it's the easier way to go.
