Our chapter does the same thing. We decided that Mondays is letters day and we wear our sweatshirts, tshirts, etc (although we do it throughout the week). Thursdays is pin attire day. Since we're usually so casual most of the week I've noticed that on pin attire days I have people asking if I'm going to an interview or what. I then explain about the badge etc - it's been a useful recruitment tool besides being proud to wear my letters, badge, and everything else
