I agree. We always wore jacket and tie to football games, as did most of the other fraternities. It did set us apart, I think, in a good way.
Unfortunately, what LSU does could probably be considered hazing if the pledges are told they have to dress up. What a crock!
I still wear my badge to chapter, district and national functions, and I have a Delt Crest lapel pin I wear when I dress in jacket and tie at other times.
And, on occassion, you can catch me in a Delt tee shirt.
I also have a Delt alumni sticker on my windshied.
