In 7th grade I went through a weird rebellion stage with my school work. I just flat out stopped trying. Looking back I don't know whether it was because I was actually just really bored in school or if I was too interested in boys...I dunno. Two things that jumped out at me included forging my mom's signature and lying about an assignment to my teacher...

For the forgery, I was given an academic warning during basketball season, meaning I was getting a D in a class. I was still allowed to play as long as I could bring it up in two weeks. If two weeks passed and I was getting a D or worse, I'd be on probation. Anywho, I figured that since I could still play, my parents didn't need to know. So I signed my mom's name. Well, the teacher could clearly tell it was not my mom's signature and gave her a call. My parents were not pleased, to say the least.

We also had G.R.E.A.T. in 7th grade (like D.A.R.E, but for gang prevention). We had an assignment due for the cop who taught it and my teacher collected it on her behalf. She called me up to her desk because she didn't have mine. I flat out didn't do it. I told her I finished it quickly in class and gave it to her before she left. As if my teacher wasn't going to follow up with cop and make sure I was telling the truth??? Needless to say she found out and was not happy.

These shenanigans (and more) led to me getting grounded for the only time in my life (for like 7 months).

Besides that, the only really bad thing I did was get caught with a boy in my room when I was 15. My parents both worked so no one would be home until 5:30pm, so I had 2ish hours to myself everyday. I invited the boy I was dating at the time over. One thing led to another and we were making out in my room. All of a sudden I hear my mom come home I thought I was going to be able to sneak him out, but the dummy left his coat on the chair in the living room. Next thing I hear is "GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW AND BRING THAT BOY WITH YOU." I still shudder when I think about it.
