That pretty much sums up the list for Alabama. Although I was born and raised here, my parents are from New York so I was taught not to speak with a distinctive accent. I constantly get people telling me that they can't believe I was raised in Alabama. Also, I don't live in a trailer!!! (no offense to anyone who does) But one of my best friend's mothers is really close minded and she didn't want us to be friends (mind you, this is in college) because she didn't want her daughter hanging around with Alabama trailer trash!!
I know most of the teasing is in good fun though and well, c'mon I live in
Alabama...
