I was thinking about how in the seventies, almost every rush skit was about a clueless rushee who was trying to discover a home and after meeting several wonderful ABCs or XYZs, she finds her real home. Think Alice meeting various Wonderland characters who show her why she should be an ABC or Dorothy doing the same in Oz. If it wasn't that, it was a takeoff on a musical like Carousel or Showboat with sorority terminology inserted.

I did play a cancan dancer in Pi Phi Showboat my senior year (a certain photo of that kept showing up on Facebook last year ). What on earth the cancan had to do with Pi Phi, I can not remember; that's just what you expected with skits back then.

33 is right, philanthropy should be replaced before skit is but I have no clue what they could replace either one with.
