Since Glee's target audience is a lot younger than the audience for L&O or CSI I think people would be more annoyed about this being said on Glee versus a show targeted at adults. The show's target audience is, among others, the same "target audience" most Greek organisations speak to, which are high school kids that are about to graduate and students.
