I thought the show was ok except for all the complaining about the pledge house rules. I don't know if it is like this just at my school but the rules seemed pretty similar to the rules in each of the sorority chapter houses here at Butler! Here we're not allowed to have alcohol in the house, and guys can't be in the house after a certain time. We allow guys in our rooms, but we also have cold dorms and they have to be out of those areas by an earlier time than the common areas.
It seems as if the Sigmas didn't prepare their PNMs for the rules, or maybe the PNMs didn't ask the right questions. I know I wondered about that stuff going through rush!
Another gripe I have is that they should have mentioned that SAEPi was a LOCAL sorority! I just hope that people realize that NPC rush is a lot more structured and there are a lot more rules involved in the process. I know Pi Phi nationals would have never let us get away with pledge bracelets when we weren't even allowed to sleep over at the house during initiation week unless we already lived there!
