I think St. John, like Talbots, would have a long battle to market to younger women successfully. With STJ a lot of it has to do with the price--it's even more than other "upscale" lines with a younger market, like Theory or Tory Burch. They have a pretty good niche going now, and they're still picking "establishment" younger celebs like Kate Winslet and AJ. They might be aiming for the 35-and-over demographic but they probably won't get much younger than that.
