The things I'm seeing and hearing (elsewhere on the interwebz) are so distasteful. She had a huge influence on many lives and, more importantly, she was family to somebody no matter what she did. Now is the time to honor her memory or be indifferent if you want, not claim her faults as reasons no one should grieve her.

I don't believe in bashing people, airing their dirty laundry (alive or dead), however why is it that when someone dies they all of a sudden become a saint beyond measure and not a bad word can be said about them (Whitney Houston, Famous, or otherwise)?
