They are the best people to help you. Since they are the ones you know, those are the chapters that are really your options. If you don't know them at all, why would they want to ask you to pledge? So if you don't like your current options, you will have to get on out there and meet some people - but it is a lot less likely to be a real possibility.

The one that did pledge isn't a a very good fraternity. they don't have big parties, not a big house, not my kind of people. The times I have tried to go to the parties with some friends they wouldn't let me in because I didn't go to Bama and wasn't in a fraternity. I thought it was kinda stupid... They just told me that they can't tell me to join the fraternity it has to be my choice
