On February 8, 2012 Bell Aliant is sponsoring its second annual "Let's Talk Day" to raise awareness of mental illness and to raise funds for programs involved with treatment and support of individuals suffering from mental illnesses. For each text message or long distance phone call made by a Bell Aliant customer, Bell will donate 5 cents to programs that support mental health. There is no additional cost, simply your standard rates.
Since Pi Alpha Gamma's official philanthropy is the Canadian Mental Health Association and each of our sisters has been touched in some way with mental illness throughout their lives, we will be participating as much as possible. 1 in 5 Canadians will be affected with mental illness throughout their lives, so we hope you will participate too.
