My most recent issue with this is that the students are clearly misinterpreting "tights" and "leggings" because I'd say at least 30% are quite translucent, and it's quite obvious that there isn't underwear being worn with most of them. Ewwwwwwww.

I would say that in the 80's, butts were usually (although not always) covered by the top when leggings were worn.
