And honestly what is with the old people here.
Don't forget, this Internet thing is still a novelty for us old geezers and geezerettes! (I don't know about you, DeltAlum, but I think these here computers just may be here to stay!) We just enjoy, what do the kids call it, "surfing the 'net" while we kick back with a cold Ensure!

Well, if that is really what you want I'm sure it won't be a problem, so don't worry about it. But take it from someone who's been there, done the career thing, it's not all it's cracked up to be! Putting on the power suit and heels, commuting to the city, schmoozing with clients and dealing with inept underlings? No thanks, not anymore! Much better to land that husband who makes enough money so you can spend your days at the pool, shopping, chilling with the kids, doing volunteer work and, yes, going on GreekChat when the mood strikes!
At least for me it is!
...and, um, a life! I just come on here now cause I'm stuck here in Tucson for summer school, it cuts the boredom. Seriouslly (editor's note: this is not how KR would have spelled this word), grow up and get a life...
Just because someone isn't doing what you think YOU would be doing if you had your choice doesn't mean they don't have a life. Ditto with people who occasionally enjoy a lively debate
P.S. to all you "younger folks" out there in GC land: Is having to take summer classes the norm these days? That would suck! That would make me such a grump! Plus, aren't summer classes expensive?
