I think they actually pointed out the girl's room, but could be wrong on that one.

I don't remember enough (fortunately) about Ted Bundy's history to know if he killed her in the dorm or if she had the horrible misfortune to cross his path elsewhere, and she just happened to live in that dorm (I think it was the latter). At any rate, it freaked daughter out a bit (she the overly cautious type to begin with) and for the next year she went out of her way to avoid that dorm.

And sorry girls - it wasn't my intent to freak either of you out. Long time ago and to be honest - Pullman is one of the few places my overly cautious child felt completely safe 99% of the time.

Joyce LePage was murdered in Stevens Hall in 1971 http://media.spokesman.com/documents...ument2____.pdf and Ted Bundy was around 25 by then. What I find a wee creepy is Joyce was found in carpet from Stevens, and the current Stevens website "hall questions" mentions that there is no carpet in the rooms. Joyce was from Pasco and had just finished her junior year when she disappeared in July of 1971.
