And I want to clarify my OP to avoid confusion, Romney and Gingrich are considered the front runners but Ron Paul and Rick Santorum also remain. The Iowa vote counts have Santorum ahead.
There is also a "scandal" with the Iowa vote miscounts that a pollster was on CNN discussing. The recount is why Santorum was found to be the "winner."

I doubt you'll hear much of the "scandal" part of this, because in every way except rhetoric, it doesn't matter - both will wind up with the same number of delegates from the caucus, regardless of the true "winner." The actual vote is of minimal importance.
