She went through recruitment and I asked her at one of the parties why she stopped wearing so much purple. Apparently she didn't want to "offend" anyone because it was one of our sorority's colors. She thought it was sacred.

Funny thing was, a week later she got a bid from us and she wore purple LITERALLY NON STOP FOR A MONTH.
This is normal in the NPHC.

We have had threads like this before. The only thing that comes to mind right now is when my nonGreek friend (she comes from a country where collegiate Greekdom is nonexistent) always asks to hang with my Sorors and asks for me to teach her how to step. We have an acquaintance who is an AKA (we can't save them all) and my friend sometimes forgets that Delta and AKA are not the same thing. I laugh because she usually shuts herself up without my telling her to sit down somewhere. LOL.
