Congratulations, GatorPNM! How exciting! Just a quick thought (which perhaps you've already done): it would be polite to go ahead and decline the other bid, so that they may offer that to someone else, since you know you will accept the bid from your number two (or number one, should that call also come). There may well be a PNM sitting in the same predicament as you, with a bid from her number two hoping for a call from her number one, which happens to be the one you know you aren't going to accept.
This is exactly the problem with such an unstructured spring recruitment, although I certainly understand UF found themselves here and are doing their best. It's so circular! But, in fairness, this same situation also happens sometimes in structured FR with snap bids- I've been involved in that mess before as well!
