When i was pledging my sorority, the pledge period felt like "it's all about us". But after i crossed, it felt like "hey, what about us?" It felt a little like we were no longer special and the focus of all the sisters' attention. It was back to sorority business as usual...elections and planning rush for the next semester/next class. It was a bit of an adjustment for me. The next semester i went to as many events as i could and i volunteered any time any sisters needed someone to help out with something. It really helped me to feel included and to bond with sisters.

Like other posters have mentioned, stick with it. Keep going to events. Try volunteering for comittees and projects. And give it at least another year. The girls you become closest with may still be to come. I crossed into my sorority almost ten years ago and graduated almost six years ago. And the girls that i'm closest with and still hang out with are girls that crossed three and four pledge classes after me.
