Unfortunately, we might not get to see if there are sequined hose in our future because of the color commentary so early.
I'd have bought everything up until "I'm not girly but I obsessed about my clothes - if I'm gonna do this I might as well do it right." You don't get to say you weren't really invested in the process AND that you were obsessed. Either you're overplaying your tomboy persona, the obsession/prep, or it's fanfic. But on the other hand, I'm ok with fanfic if it includes twins, sequined hose, etc. If you're making it up, make it good.
