I was gonna say "You sounded like a drunken frat boy." However....
I'm a little confused so if someone could help me out, that'd be great. The Fire Marshall (I think that's who that was) said they can't afford the manpower, equipment, etc. to go out to every fire. However, they DO go to every fire, just the unpaid ones they sit and watch it burn. You still have to pay for the dispatch of the men/women who are on the clock, watching the fire (not that most firemen are paid by the hour, but just saying). Is it the actual USE of the equipment that is so expensive? I guess what I'm saying is, where is the cost cutting if the trucks have to go out to every fire anyway?
