I looked through my Bill Highway material this morning and didn't find anything that supported this statement. I find that it would be hard for them to do this without your social security number, which (for my sorority) is not something that we ask of our members. I can see where if a member is sent to collections (but usually, this is a process taken after disciplinary action has been taken on the part of the inter/national organization) that a collection agency / judgment may cause a change in a person's credit history.Does anyone have experience with this? I can see where specific chapters may say this (to try to get members to pay on-time - Which is important for chapter operations), but I am just wondering if credit reporting is actually happening.
